Kim Kardashian is a reality star, businesswoman, and skincare tycoon — and she’s about to become a high-profile actor.
The SKIMS creator will join Emma Roberts in the 12th season of FX’s American Horror Story, which was created particularly for her, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” said AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy told the publication. “Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
Shooting for the next season is set to begin in New York City later this month, with a summer launch presently planned, though Murphy and FX have yet to reveal specifics.
Kardashian has been on programmes such as How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, and Paw Patrol, but her part in American Horror Story is her biggest to yet.
The celebrity teased the news on Instagram, posting a teaser film with ominous music and the caption: “Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate.” She accompanied the image with a blood drop and an eyeballs emoji.
