Singer, songwriter and actor, Ne-Yo is looking for ways to spend more time with his youngest kids. The singer reportedly asked the court for a motion to establish the paternity of his two children he fathered with another woman named Sade while married to his ex-wife Crystal Renay.
According to TMZ the singer and actor also filed for “joint legal and physical custody” of the children. Ne-Yo fathered two kids with ex-girlfriend Sade, they first welcomed their first child, together in 2021 and their second was born in February this year.
According to Daily Mail, Ne-Yo’s ex-wife filed for divorce in 2022 claiming that he fathered a child outside their marriage and their divorce was finalized in January of this year.
Ne-Yo hopes all his children to be able to inherit from him in the event of his death.
The exes shared sons Shaffer, seven, and Roman, four, along with a daughter, Isabella, who will turn two in June.
He also shares two children with his earlier ex-girlfriend Monyetta Shaw: Madilyn, 12, and Mason, 11.
The couple’s divorce settlement according to reports, Ne-Yo will keep three of the four homes that they owned, while Crystal will keep one. Ne-Yo also agreed to pay Crystal a lump sum of $1.6 million.
Crystal was also given $20,00- to cover her moving expenses. She will be receiving $12,000 per month in child support, while Ne-Yo will take care of their children’s tuition expenses. She will receive $5,000 per month in alimony for the first three years after their divorce
Ne-Yo will be keeping their 2022 Bentley Bentayga, according to TMZ.
