Quincy Jones Rushed To The Hospital

Music producer and 28-time Grammy winner Quincy Jones rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency. According to TMZ Jones was rushed to the hospital after a bad food reaction.

A representative of the music producer told TMZ that Jones had a bad reaction to some food he ate and 911 for help was called. Saturday afternoon the paramedics arrived at Jones’ L.A home and transported him to the emergency room.

The doctors later gave the 90-year-old a clear and discharge him and was confirmed to be in a “great spirit” and didn’t suffer any major injuries.

The Grammy winner in 19974 suffered a life-threatening brain aneurysm that left him with six steel pins in his head.

“I actually had two brain aneurysms,” Jones said in his 2018 documentary, “Quincy.”

“So I guess I would classify as having some experience with trauma to the brain. Also, my mother suffered from mental illness,” he continued.

“She was a brilliant woman who spoke several languages and had degrees from several colleges, but she had this condition that debilitated her, which today could’ve been controlled with medication. But at the time, during the Depression, they simply would commit you.”

In 2015 Jones was rushed to hospital after he fell ill with chest pains and shortness of breath.
