Tino Chinyani and his partner Simz Ngema have just dropped a new single as a birthday gift to their son Tiyani Chinyani.
Little Tiyani turned three years old today and his parents made sure to make his day feel more special with a song dedication. The new single is titled “Tiyani” and its the couple’s first ever collaboration.
Taking to their social media platforms to share the news, the artists posted: “This Friday 23rd of June, Mini me turns 3,” shared Chinyani. “@simzngema and I are releasing a song to honour our beautiful gift. Our son has been such a blessing and this is our gift to him. Song: Tiyani – Tiyani Afrika feat. Quing Simz.”
The media personality and actress-musician visited Metro FM on Wednesday morning for an interview with DJ Sabby on his daily breakfast show to talk about the song. They’ve also been sharing snippets of the record, which has a mellow R&B feel to it, on Instagram.
It’s been over a year since Tino first ventured into music with the release of his debut single, “Nothing For Free” ft. Scooby Nero.
