According to recent reports, Mark Zuckerberg, the 39-year-old billionaire and founder of Meta, has been seen training with UFC stars. He was spotted at a gym in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, alongside Ultimate Fighting Championship athletes Alex Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya. Adesanya even shared a photo of the trio together, captioning it with “No fugazi with Mark, This is Serious Business!!” and including a shark emoji.
In the comments section of the post, Zuckerberg expressed his gratitude, stating that it was an honour to train with the UFC stars. It seems that this training is in preparation for a fight against Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter and a rival in the social networking world. In late June, Musk, who is currently the richest man in the world, challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight on Twitter, to which Zuckerberg responded by saying, “Send me location.” Musk then suggested holding the fight in Las Vegas.
In a playful manner, Musk also shared his fictional fighting technique called “The Walrus,” which involved him humorously lying on top of his opponent and doing nothing. While these interactions between Zuckerberg and Musk seem to be in good fun, it’s unclear whether there are any serious intentions behind the potential fight. Nonetheless, it has certainly captured the attention of the public and sparked speculation about what might happen if these tech giants were to face off in the Octagon.
Musk also tweeted: “I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids throwing them in the air.”
Zuckerberg on the other hand has been training in mixed martial arts and recently won jiu-jitsu tournaments.
