If anyone had doubts about Uncle Waffles being an international certified hun, well here’s the confirmation. The disc jockey revealed that she has made it to the Times Square and Toronto Dundas Square billboards.
The talented DJ is constantly making waves, and she is definitely having a great year so far career wise.
Taking to her Instagram on Saturday the 12th of August, the superstar revealed that her latest EP, Solace, was announced on Times Square and Toronto’s Dundas Square billboards. “????We got a billboard in Times Square US and Toronto Dundas Square ????????. Thank you guys for loving the new music! SOLACE OUT RN ???? Thank you so much baby????,” she captioned the post with the picture of her EP cover on the billboards.
Recently, Uncle Waffles was also interviewed on Variety, and the Swaziland-born, South African-based Amapiano DJ opened up about her latest EPs Asylum and Solace.
“There’s so much chaos when you blow up… and there’s so much learning left to do. There are so many moments where you’re feeling like you’re drowning. So Asylum was supposed to represent the chaos of my journey,” she was quoted as saying.
She added by saying that Solace is supposed to signify how within all of this, she still recognises the grace and that there was so much beauty within her journey. “There’s so much beauty, and so Solace is supposed to capture the parts of the project that represents how happy I am that I was chosen for this,” she reportedly added.
