Look around everybody on mute…Beyonce is reportedly in talks for $10 million residency in Las Vegas

Reports suggest that Beyoncé is in discussions for a $10-million (approximately R181-million) performance at Las Vegas’ Sphere.

Beyonce is rumoured to have toured the state-of-the-art venue, currently hosting U2’s ‘U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere’ residency, accompanied by her manager. According to reports, she has engaged in talks with James Dolan, the executive chairman of MSG Networks, regarding a potential residency at the venue in the coming year.

The multi-billion-dollar immersive MSG Sphere at the Venetian offers concert-goers a “360-degree sonic spectrum,” ensuring consistent sound quality regardless of their seating location.

Should this deal materialize, it would be a significant triumph for the venue, considering Beyoncé’s track record of success. Her ‘Renaissance World Tour’ reportedly generated $579 million, establishing itself as the highest-grossing tour by a female artist. Other artists such as Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi are also reportedly interested in securing bookings at the venue.
