Kylian Mbappe Agrees To Join Real Madrid

According to reports by French transfer market expert Santi Aouna via Footmercato, the soccer player Kylian Mbappe has agreed to join Real Madrid when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires this summer.

Mbappe went on extend his deal with the Qatari-backed Ligue 1 outfit in 2022 when famously ditching Madrid at the last minute.

On the 4th of January, Mbappe revealed that he hadn’t yet made a decision on his future but was “very, very motivated for this year”. He said: “It’s very important. As I said, we’ve got titles to go after and we’ve already taken one. After that, I haven’t made up my mind yet. I haven’t made a choice,”

Mbappe also highlighted how his negotiations are going at the moment: “With the agreement I made with the President last summer, whatever my decision, we managed to protect all parties and preserve the club’s serenity for the challenges ahead, which remains the most important thing. So let’s say it’s secondary.”

Mbappe can expect to earn far less than his reported $110 million on-field salary at Madrid, but perhaps he has a much better chance of lifting the Champions League with the record 14-time winners of the competition than in Paris.
