Nkosazana Daughter Sues Mac G for a Whopping R13 Million Over Paternity Rumours!

Nkosazana Daughter, the Amapiano sensation whose real name is Nolwazi Nzama, has taken legal action against podcast host Macgyver “Mac G” Mukwevho, filing a staggering R13 million defamation lawsuit. The drama stems from explosive claims made during an episode of Podcast and Chill in July, where Mac G boldly asserted that the father of Nkosazana Daughter’s child was not fellow Amapiano artist Sir Trill, as widely believed, but rather renowned producer Master KG.

The revelation left fans stunned, especially as it followed months of rumours suggesting Nkosazana Daughter was expecting a baby with Sir Trill. But Mac G stood on his word and claimed that his information came from a reliable source:
“Someone in Botswana told me and they are very close to Nkosazana Daughter. Apparently, that’s not Sir Trill’s kid; it’s Master KG’s kid, bro. I kid you not,” he said on the podcast.

Making the issue worse was co-host Sol Phenduka after he said suggesting that these alleged paternity issues might be at the root of a rumoured fallout between Nkosazana Daughter and Sir Trill.

It didn’t take long for Nkosazana Daughter to break her silence on the matter. Taking to social media, she firmly shut down the rumours and expressed her disappointment in the lengths people will go for attention.”I assure you big time, my relation with Master KG is not romantic or sexual!” she said at the time.
She went on to clarify that her connection with Master KG is strictly professional: “Like I said before, KG and I only work together, but it’s like there’s people trying to convince you there’s more, and there is no such thing.”

Clearly frustrated, the singer voiced her outrage over how women are treated in the music industry:”All this for views? I’m so disappointed at how low people can go, not to mention how women are so disrespected in this industry! It’s so unfortunate that you will never see the amount of work we’ve put in, because I’m female I must be sleeping with him. Disgusting.”

Unwilling to let the matter slide, Nkosazana Daughter has now filed a defamation lawsuit against Mac G in the Johannesburg High Court, looking for R13 million in damages. According to Sunday World, her legal team argues that the podcast’s allegations have seriously harmed her personal reputation and professional standing.

The lawsuit calls for an apology from the podcast hosts and demands that they retract the statements made during the episode. The legal filing highlights how the case involves hearsay testimony, which lacks credibility and has caused ongoing damage to the artist’s image.

In addition to the millions in financial compensation, Nkosazana Daughter’s legal team is pushing for an apology to be delivered in multiple formats:”An oral, televised, and written apology issued by the first and/or second and/or third defendant to the plaintiff.”
