Following the recent broadcast of the National Geographic series, Team Sayari, the energetic team of budding conservationists is back on screens in the next instalment of the youth-led conservation programme. Taking their journeys further, in short, compact episodes, Team Sayari, A Journey Beyond, is now airing on National Geographic Wild (DStv: 182, StarSat: 221) on Saturdays at 13:00 (CAT). One new 5-minute episode premieres on the channel per week, and is available on the National Geographic Youtube channel directly thereafter.

Led by the programme’s goal to inspire meaningful, impactful behavioural change in young viewers across the continent and create the next generation of environmental conservation leaders, Team Sayari took children on adventurous journeys, in which the wonders of the natural world, and the need to live more lightly on the planet, were revealed. Now, viewers will get to reconnect with the presenters in East Africa and South Africa to see where their conservation journeys have led them and experience even more nature-based fun. Kenya-based Mysha Hodson, Marita Lucas, Jack Norton-Griffith, Shanah Manjeru and Adarsh Nagda and South African Atule Mazane, Khahliso Khojane and Thandolwethu Fani are all back with new adventures and lifelong learnings.
