Michael Jordan’s Son arrested for DUI, Cocaine and Resisting Arrest

NBA icon Michael Jordan’s second-oldest son, Marcus Jordan, just made some serious headlines — and not for the reasons anyone would want.

The 34-year-old got arrested early in the morning in Maitland, Florida. He faces charges including cocaine possession, DUI, and resisting arrest.

The incident occurred around 1:14 a.m. when officers suspected Marcus had been involved in a nearby traffic stop.

When they pulled him over, they immediately smelled alcohol. During questioning, Marcus claimed he had “taken a wrong turn” and needed help getting his car off the tracks.

According to TMZ, the officers noticed his slurred speech and bloodshot, glassy eyes which escalated things quickly. They ordered Marcus out of his car, and he initially refused to cooperate. Eventually, they got him out.

“The docs state Jordan went on to perform three field sobriety tests” — and didn’t pass a single one.

But the craziness didn’t end there, officers found a white powdery substance in his pocket that tested positive for cocaine.

Reports say Marcus was “combative” as officers tried to detain him in the police vehicle. Yet, in classic unpredictable fashion, he started singing all the way to the lockup.

Marcus now faces three charges: DUI with property damage, cocaine possession, and resisting an officer without violence. His bond was set at $4 000, but it’s unclear if he’s still in jail.

Beyond his famous dad, Marcus made headlines for his past relationship with Larsa Pippen, the 50-year-old star of The Real Housewives of Miami and ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, Michael’s former teammate.

Their two-year relationship, which ended in April 2024, sparked drama due to their age gap and connection to the Bulls dynasty.
