Beyoncé has officially made country music history. According to Live Nation, her Cowboy Carter tour has grossed more than $400 million, making it the highest-grossing country tour of all time.
In a statement released Monday, Live Nation also noted that the artist has now become the highest-grossing Black artist in history, as well as the top-grossing R&B artist of all time, citing a report from Billboard.

The 43-year-old megastar launched her Cowboy Carter stadium tour in late April in Los Angeles, performing hits like “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” while frequently joined onstage by her two daughters. The tour wrapped up last Saturday in Las Vegas with a star-studded finale featuring appearances by her husband, rapper Jay-Z, her former group Destiny’s Child, and rising country artist Shaboozey.
Over the course of 32 sold-out shows across North America, the UK, and Europe, Beyoncé celebrated the often-overlooked legacy of Black artists in country music—many of whom are featured on her Cowboy Carter album. Her work has been both a tribute and a challenge to the genre’s boundaries. Despite her Texas roots, Beyoncé has previously spoken out about feeling unwelcome in the country music community, especially after backlash from her 2016 performance at the Country Music Association Awards, which drew racist criticism on social media.

Her efforts culminated in a landmark win at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where she became the first Black woman to receive Best Country Album.
Live Nation highlighted another major milestone: Beyoncé is now the first woman and first American act to have two separate tours each earn over $400 million in revenue.
While Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour has broken records within its genre, it still trails behind Taylor Swift’s Eras tour, which earned over $2 billion between March 2023 and December 2024—making it the highest-grossing tour in music history.
