Bravo Africa (DStv 124) welcomes one of the founding families of reality television, The Braxtons, premiering on Sunday, 1 February at 7 PM, with new episodes every Sunday until 22 March 2026.
The Braxtons open up about their emotional journey as a family, tracing the highs and lows of the past few years through to their present triumphs. The series offers an intimate look at never-before-seen moments, from life in quarantine to the heartbreaking loss of their sister, Traci, inviting viewers into their world as they navigate and rebuild this new chapter together in her absence.
Matriarch Evelyn shared on behalf of the family: “Thank you all for sharing our lives. I hope that through each one of our experiences, you’ll grow with us. Inspiring you in your endeavours, and teaching you the importance of family, love, and experiencing life. Remember, we’re not perfect, we’re only human. Look at God.”
Ms Evelyn is committed to guiding her daughters toward healing, transforming pain into purpose as they lean on one another and move forward together. Each hour-long episode follows the dynamic lives of Toni, Towanda, Trina and Tamar as they juggle relationships, motherhood, careers and family, all while prioritising the bond that matters most: their sisterhood.
Finding balance proves to be a challenge as each sister faces an exceptionally busy year ahead. This season sees Toni launching her Las Vegas residency, “Love and Laughter”, alongside Cedric the Entertainer at The Cosmopolitan. Towanda juggles business and motherhood while raising two teenagers and playing a pivotal role in the life of her nephew, Kevin, as he navigates life without his mother, Traci. Trina balances her growing businesses with motherhood as she supports her two sons through adulthood, while Tamar continues to expand her music and media empire, managing the demands of motherhood while learning how to juggle it all.
This season will be raw and unfiltered as we share in all the family fun, hardships and even their love lives – including Ms. Evelyn’s search for a life partner.
