Police officers were out in full force in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni on Saturday. They mounted roadblocks in the area and raided shops that have flouted lockdown regulations.
Several people were also arrested for various offences. Law enforcement officials have vowed to continue the checks throughout the lockdown.
