Sassa says no new disability grants being processed yet

Another unsatisfactory day for many at the Sassa office in Pretoria. Some people, who waited hours to be helped, were turned back after officials said no disability grant applications or inquiries would be attended to.

Sassa spokesperson Paseka Letsatsi said these beneficiaries have been included in the COVID-19 social grants. Sassa says it’s working at one-third of its capacity as per lockdown regulations.
