Public Works Minister, Patricia de Lille says a report on the Beitbridge fence has cleared her name.
It recommends disciplinary action against 14 senior Public Works officials.
The fence between South Africa and Zimbabwe was erected in March to help curb the spread of COVID-19. But its procurement and construction were questionable.
The department is looking to blacklist the company that constructed the Beitbridge fence.
“One of the recommendation that came from the investigation is that we need to start a process with Treasury to blacklist the company,” said De Lille.
