Our client is looking for a full-time Junior Risk Consultant. Are YOU it?

What you’ll be doing if you get the job:

As a member of their team, the primary focus of your role will include driving the formulation and implementation of the risk model and claims philosophy, analysis of claims and other data to recommend and implement changes to the risk model, sanctioning new risk strategies, managing relationships and policies with the reinsurers, creating training material and educate risk consultants on industry trends, standards and risk management skills, assisting with the definition of operational processes related to risk management. Your role may change over time, depending on your performance, your needs, and the businesss needs.

You’ll work closely with our clients other business processing teams including policy alterations, underwriting, finance, etc.

Who’ll you report to:

Youll be based within our clients Processing division at their head office in Sandton, Johannesburg, and you’ll report to their Processing Team Leader: Specialists, who is accountable for their Life Policy Underwriting functions.

Skills:

MS Office and PC literate
Numeracy
Accuracy typing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications and experience:

You must have passed Grade 12 / Matric with Biology, Science, English, and Mathematics on Higher Grade with a pass mark of no less than 65% in each subject.
Medical diploma will be beneficial.
You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in claims and administration industry
Must have an understanding of the Individual life insurance product ie Life cover, Permanent Disability cover, Temp Income Cover and Critical Illness
