Norma Mngoma is expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning on charges related to malicious damage to property and crimen injuria.
The Hawks arrested her in July after her husband, former Cabinet minister Malusi Gigaba, opened a case.
He claims she damaged a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon. Mngoma was detained at the Brooklyn police station and then released on R5,000 bail.
Her lawyers want the case declared unlawful and invalid due to the involvement of the Hawks.
