61 more COVID-19 deaths in SA

The Health Department has reported 61 more COVID-19 related deaths, taking the death toll in South Africa to 18,370.

Most of the new deaths come from the Free State. SA’s recoveries stand at 629 260, which translates to a recovery rate of 90 percent.

The cumulative number of detected COVID-19 cases is 700,203 with 2,019 new infections identified since the last report.
