Emirates is set to resume flights to Durban from Thursday. The Dubai-based airline cancelled flights due to confusion over South Africa’s COVID-19 travel regulations.
The regulations required international airline crews, like normal passengers, to have a negative test not older than 72 hours.
International travelling was suspended for months to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Only one flight due to land in Durban was affected.
