Moshe Ndiki and Phelo Bala have either taken the up the challenge to be the Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha of the LGBTQIA+ community and teach us to learn to drink water. Or the two have come up with the biggest marketing campaign to promote Phelo’s solo music career.
No one will ever know the truth, except the parties involved but what we suggest is let us lay down the facts, and let you be the judges.
Moshe and Phelo shook 2019 when they first made their relationship status public. Moshe was already out and proud, and Phelo, well, let us chew on that bone until he had found the “one;” a term we can now use again because clearly.
Things seemed to be going great between the two following their 2019 engagement, until 2020- Granted that this year has been about learning about a “new-normal.” And that is what Moshe and Phelo took us through.
In 2020, news reports alleged that the two were broken up. The reason for the breakup was alleged that both parties loved a good sundowner, or two. Additionally, there were rumors of physical abuse in the relationship, with suggestions that Moshe would throw the hands and Phelo would be catching them.
While Moshe attempted to do damage control with a public statement that suggested that the two just needed space and would like to have his privacy with “his Phelo” respected. Phelo came out and was like, “it is the “baby” for me” that confuses me because we are over. So, as much as we were heartbroken about the breakup, like all good that we believed came to an end we moved! And thought so has the couple too.
The fact that the truth is complex is not an excuse to resort to comfortable lies. Lies can disguise themselves as truth but eventually, the truth comes to light.

But Phelo and Moshe had other plans for us. Last month, Phelo shook us all with an image of himself and a mystery man that was thought to be his new flame. The mystery man turned out to be industry insider, Vuyo Varoyi. But neither would confirm whether love-lives here. Moshe, on the other hand came than came out and revealed that he was going to be a father, which many thought meant single father, but again, clearly!
Fast forward, Phelo releases a new single called I-don’t-want-(you), or just known as “Andisafuni” (wena). A song that many thought detailed the reason for their breakup. During this time Phelo continued posting Vuyo, and Moshe took off social media to start preparing to be a father.
But shocker! Phelo comes out of the blue and say he “misses” Moshe. Moshe likes the post. And slowly we start to discover that maybe the Mabena’s were us. Below is proof that maybe we should learn to just drink water. The couple has already been spotted to together out in public, and Phelo posted an image from Moshe’s backyard wearing clothes from Vuyo’s clothing brand. So actually, who is fooling who?
