President Cyril Ramaphosa has extended the National State of Disaster by a month. Ramaphosa made the announcement on Wednesday.
“To ensure that we can keep all the necessary prevention measures in place, we are, as required by the Disaster Management Act, extending the national state of disaster by another month to the 15th of December,” said Ramaphosa.
Ramaphosa urged South Africans to continue to adhere to health regulations in order to avoid a second wave of infections.
