Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary return to court for bail hearing

Self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, his wife Mary, and three others will return to court on Monday for a bail hearing.

The five appeared in court on Friday and the matter was postponed until Monday. They have been in custody for almost two weeks.

They are facing charges of fraud, theft, and money laundering to the value of over R100-million.

The State says the accused will abscond if they are granted bail.
