Seven children allegedly involved in a brawl at Edenglen High School have been suspended. Six of them tested positive for narcotic use.
A video emerged on social media of pupils fighting at the Johannesburg school. The Gauteng Education Department says it’s disappointed.
Spokesperson Steve Mabona said, “it is so sad that six of the learners who were involved in this fight tested positive for dagga usage.

“In addition, one of the suspended learners was found with a knife, which he indicated that this was meant for his protection against the other learners. Mabona said police will continue to investigate this matter.
