The South African Weather Services is warning of more possible storms and flooding in different parts of the country this weekend.
KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng have been the worst hit by heavy rain this week. A roof collapsed onto several cars at a Vereeniging garage on Friday.
In KZN a 22-year-old woman died after she was swept away in a flooding river.
The extreme weather warning comes just days after a tornado ripped through Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.
