COVID-19 cases continue to climb, with new infections nudging the 11,000 mark.
A month ago, daily cases were around 2,500.
The cumulative number of cases in South Africa is now 912,477.
At least 787,782 people have recovered from the virus.
The health department said 254 people have died due to the virus since the last report, mostly in the Eastern Cape.
The total number of people who have succumbed to COVID-19 in South Africa now stands at 24,539.
