Former president Jacob Zuma is expected to appear before the Pietermaritzburg High Court on charges of corruption, fraud and racketeering.
The charges are related to the Strategic Defence Procurement Packages or the Arms Deal of the late 1990’s. Zuma maintains the charges are politically motivated.
