More than 4,000 new COVID -19 cases have been recorded in South Africa.
The cumulative number of infections is at almost 822,000. The Eastern Cape accounts for most of the 183 most recent deaths.
The death toll in SA exceeds 22,000.

Over 750,000 people have recovered from the virus.
