Mayihlome Tshwete (born 10 December 1982) is a renowned personality in South Africa. The articulate young man was appointed to serve as the spokesperson of the Department of Home Affairs.

Mayihlome’s mother, Pamela Tshwete, serves as the Deputy Minister of Human Settlement, Water and Sanitation of the Republic of South Africa. She was appointed to serve under the position on 30 May 2019.
She also occupies other political positions including a member of the National Assembly.

Mayihlome Tshwete is married to Zizo Tshewete, a renowned radio and television presenter. His fame grew after getting married to the popular radio and television figure.
The couple met at Malusi Gigaba’s 40th birthday party and their love grew and waxed strong after they started a relationship. The couple had their wedding on 11 December 2015 at Eastern Cape, in King William’s Town.
His wife is also a well-known personality in South Africa, Zizo took home the crown on Miss South African Teen Pageant (2016).
She is also a model and has served as a co-host on Selimathunzi, an SABC1 lifestyle, and an entertainment magazine show.
Son
Together with his wife, Mayihlome Tshwete has a son names Vukile. The couple welcomed the child in March 2016, since then he never fails to make out time for his son.
Career
He served as the spokesperson and the head of communication for the Department of Home Affairs. Mayihlome has also worked closely with Mausi Gigaba, who served as the minister of the Home Affairs.
