More than 15,009 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed. KwaZulu-Natal has the most active cases at present followed by the Western Cape.
The health department reported that another 228 people have died. The department said there have been more than 897,704 recoveries so far.

The Clinician Hotline is 0800 11 1131, operating 24 hrs. The Public Hotline is 0800 029 999 also operating 24hrs.
