According to Health Minister Zweli Mkhize, 1.1-million South Africans will be vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of March. Mkhize briefed the National Council of Provinces on South Africa’s vaccine rollout strategy.
Meanwhile, the Health Department reported 144 more COVID-19 related deaths, taking SA’s deaths toll to 49,667. A total of 1,676 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
