The Health Department has confirmed that 113 more people have succumbed to COVID-19 related illnesses, taking the country’s death toll to 49,053.
A total of 1,429 new cases were recorded in the last 24-hours. South Africa’s total recoveries are 1,412,015. This puts the country’s recovery rate at 93.8 percent.
