DRC President Felix Tshisekedi will be sworn in as AU chairperson on Sunday.
He takes over from President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Tshisekedi says he hopes to help build a self-reliant continent that can find African solutions to African problems.
He believes the COVID-19 pandemic challenge is an opportunity to re-examine socio-economic priorities and work towards inclusive economic growth.
