The Health Department reported 756 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa. A total of 78 more people have died, taking the death toll to 52,788. The department says 251,707 healthcare workers are vaccinated.
Meanwhile, SA will remain on Alert Level 1 Lockdown during the Easter weekend. Some restrictions have stayed the same, while some have changed. The curfew will remain as is, while beaches, parks and dams will remain open.
