South Africa is still seeing a decline in new COVID-19 infections. Only 933 new cases were recorded over the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa to 1,530,966.
Regrettably, though, 139 more people have died. The recovery rate stands at 95-per cent and the country has 21,405 active cases. Over 157,000 vaccines have been administered.
