COVID-19 in SA: 65 more deaths, 1,006 new cases recorded

The health department reported 1,006 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours. The department said 65 more people have died, taking the death toll to just over 51,000. More than 95 percent of those infected with the virus have now recovered.

Over 145,000 vaccines have been administered. Coronavirus Hotline Number: 0800 029 999 from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
