Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says the sale of the AstraZeneca vaccines has been concluded.
In February, a million doses of the drug arrived in the country.
But their use was suspended, following concerns about their efficacy against the COVID variant first discovered here.
The vaccines, which expire mid-April, will be shipped to nine African Union countries this week.
The balance will be delivered to five other countries.
Mkhize says the country has recouped the full purchase costs for the vaccine.
