Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe has told the Zondo Commission that cameras installed on his properties were offered by Papa Leshabane.
The minister says he was not part of the discussion when this happened.
Mantashe says the first installation was done at his Boksburg home and three years later, similar cameras were installed in the Eastern Cape.
He claims there had been someone stealing at his property.
Leshabane, a former Bosasa executive, has previously told the commission of security installations made by the controversial company at Mantashe’s properties.
