Some relief for Joburg residents struggling to keep their accounts paid and up to date.
Many of whom have been financially impacted by COVID-19.
The City of Joburg says it wants to write off about R11.7 billion, as part of its debt rehabilitation programme.
Residents in arrears and who meet the criteria can apply to have their debts written off.
