NSFAS ready to turn things around

Billions have been spent to fund higher education students.

That’s according to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

It says although it’s dealt with funding challenges and delays, it’s turning things around.

NSFAS applicants will now know in time whether they’ve been accepted for funding and their fees will be paid immediately.

NSFAS says it’s also looking into complaints from TVET college students that they’ve not received their monthly allowances, apparently due to the system being hacked.
