Health Minister Zweli Mkhize has apologized for the disruptions caused by the Digital Vibes scandal.
He says his intention is not to dodge questions but to make sure he fully cooperates with the SIU.
Mkhize says the matter has tainted the work being done to fight COVID-19.
The Health Minister was in the Northern Cape on Tuesday where he visited various hospitals.
The province recorded the highest number of infections in the country last week. It has also recorded 138 new cases overnight.
