Western Cape: At 13H03 Wednesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to a shooting at a construction site in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town.
Reports indicate that an adult male was shot once in the upper abdomen by a low calibre weapon.
It is believed the elderly man was on his lunch break sitting in the cab of earthmoving equipment when the incident occurred.
The man who had sustained serious injuries treated and stabilized on scene by Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioners.
Due to the nature of the patients injuries a Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift the man to the hospital.

Several reports have suggested that Bonginkosi Dlamini’s, also known as Zola 7, health has deteriorated and he has been hospitalized.
