A video of a wife walking in on her husband during lobola negotiations in their house has gone viral. The man who looks like he is getting married to another woman whilst he is married is Prophet Mafa from Pretoria.
In the video, the wife walks in on her husband and the other woman’s relatives. She brings with her the police just in case things do not end well. The televangelist surely disrespects his family by allegedly deciding to get married in his home when his little child is watching.
Women are hurt by the fact that the wife was not aware that it was happening in her house. Imagine finding out your husband is marrying a second wife and worse at the house you both stay in.
This gets even worse when he tries to talk to his wife away from the visitors in their home. Many are not pleased with Prophet Mafa’s level of disrespect. Polygamy is legal under circumstances in Mzansi. Although only men are allowed to marry more than one spouse of the opposite s.e.x, women are soon to be privileged with similar rights.
