Kendra Etunfunwa (born 28 June 1993), also addressed as Kendra Divine, is a Nigerian actress and model. She has appeared in several television serials. 

The fast-rising actress is a familiar face with viewers of the hit television series Jacob’s Cross.

She has appeared in many publications in the country. She appeared in SA Elle Magazine and Glamour (South Africa). As a model, she has worked with many brands. She has also being a brand ambassador for several other brands within and outside the country.

The Nigerian-born model left South Africa for New York in 2010. She has also worked as an ambassador for The New York Times travel show and Iheart Radio Jingle ball concert.

Background

She was born on 28 June 1993 in Nigeria, a country on the African Continent. She was raised by her mother, a businessperson, and retired banker, in Lagos State in the southwestern geopolitical zone of Nigeria.

Education

After her primary and secondary school pursuit, she further to study physical and health education at Delta State University (Abraka Campus).

She also studied human resources for two years at the London School of Business, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Career

She appeared among other hopefuls for the 2006 Lagos auditions for the MBGN pageant. An agent found her and that marked the debut of her career as a model.

Oluchi has a place in the most sought-after models in Nigeria and worked with top brands. She worked with Diamond Bank, now acquired by Access Bank, as a model.

She appeared among the twenty-six selected to appear on Deal or No Deal, an M-Net’s television game show.

Kendra made her debut in print after she shared the cover of True Love magazine with John Fashanu.

In 2011, she received an invitation from the producers of hip-hop awards to present the Hip-Hop awards.

She moved to the city of Johannesburg, South Africa in 2007. A model agency, Boss Models (then Star Model Management) found and signed her.

Oluchi has appeared in several TV commercials for many top South African-based and international brands. She did commercials for Clorts Gum, Knorr Cubes, Eclairs candy, Castle lite beer, and Cell C.

Kendra has also walked the runway for fashion week both on the local and international scene.

In 2010, Oluchi became a cast member of the Mzansi Magic, SABC2, among others broadcast drama series Jacob’s Cross.

She appeared as the lead female Ify in the Discovery Network’s educational feature film Inside Story.
