A total of 10,008 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.
The NICD said 190 COVID-19 related deaths have also been recorded, bringing total fatalities to 74,813 to date.
A total of 43,818 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
The Western Cape recorded over 2,900 new cases.
