Former Prasa chairperson, Popo Molefe, says he did not get political support from the ANC’s, then, top six when he wanted to deal with corruption at the embattled agency. Molefe says ANC leaders had the power to help him root out corruption but refused to do so.

However, President Cyril Ramaphosa told the commission that Molefe had many options at his disposal to fight state capture at Prasa before declaring that he was left out to dry by the top six.
