Pastor Gwala and Zekhethelo are finally getting married on Uzalo.
The couple’s wedding will air on Thursday and Friday, 12 and 13 August, on the SABC1 soapie.
The couple’s relationship has been the most spoken about in the streets on KwaMashu, with people not approving.
But because they are in love, they don’t mind the comments and are going through with the wedding.
Menzi Biyela, who plays the role of the pastor, spoke to the People’s Paper about what fans can expect.
“I cannot say much about the wedding except that it will be a beautiful one. Zekhethelo did a great job with her dress, Gwala’s tux and the decor as everything will look superb,” he said.
Menzi said people would eventually start to accept the couple’s relationship.
“With the way everything will pan out, people will start to open up to the idea of Pastor Gwala and Zekhethelo being together. People are unhappy because they don’t think she is fit enough to be a mam’fundisi. But Pastor Gwala doesn’t care because he loves her,” he said.
However, just as every Uzalo wedding goes, this one will also bring a lot of drama.
“The unexpected will happen when Pastor Gwala discovers some shocking news, which will shake his relationship.”
