Barbadian singer, Rihanna finally reaches billionaire status, making her world richest female musician at age 33.
The money magazine revealed on Wednesday, 4th of August, that, by its calculations, the business-woman is now worth $1.7 billion (£1.2 bn).
The singer didn’t attain the billionaire level through proceeds from her music career, but Forbes estimates that a vast majority of her earnings ($1.4 billion) comes from her 50% ownership stake of make-up, hair and skincare line, Fenty Beauty and attributes a large part of the brand’s success to its core value of inclusivity.
