To help the government in its efforts to ramp up the vaccination drive, a Transnet vaccination train has started operating from today.
Called Transvaco, it has state-of-the-art facilities onboard like special fridges for the storage of vials.
The train will also be able to reach communities in remote areas.
Currently, at the Springs train station on the East Rand, it will move from there to the Eastern Cape.
Taxi drivers were the first in line to get their jabs at the Transvaco.
