The government will up its game to protect citizens and their property.
Deputy President David Mabuza has made this pledge in the National Council of Provinces.
He says in future, the government will be better prepared for the kind of violence and unrest experienced in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng in July.
“We want to assure our society and our public to say this won’t happen again, we will be ready the next time around,” he said.
